Echiura

Echiura, ekiuroj aŭ kulervermoj, estas malgranda grupo de marbestoj. Iam traktitaj kiel separata filumo, ili estas nune universale konsiderataj kiel reprezentanto de derivitaj anelidaj vermoj, kiuj perdis sian segmentadon.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] La majoritato de ekiuroj vivas en neprofunda akvo, sed estas ankaŭ profundakvaj marformoj. Oni priskribis pli ol 230 specioj.^[5] La Echiura malfacile fosiliiĝis kaj la plej antikva konata specimeno estas el Supra Karbonio (Pensilvania). Tamen, oni trovis U-formajn fosiliajn nestotruojn kiuj povus esti el Echiura date el Kambrio.
