Biografio

Poul Anderson naskiĝis en Pensilvanio, de gepatoj dan-devenaj. Li passas sian junaĝon en Usona Mez-Okcidento, tio, kiu klarigas nombrajn referencojn, dum sia kariero, pri kampanara kaj terkultiva mondo. Por pagi sian lernadon pri fizikon en la Universitato de Minesoto, li publikigas sian unuan tekston Tomorrow's children (la infanoj de morgaŭ) en marto 1947 en revuo Astounding. Dum sekvantaj jaroj, li instaliĝas en San Francisco, kie li plu verkas novelojn, jen sola, jen kunlaborante kun Howard Waldrop, Gordon R. Dickson aŭ Karen Kruse, kiu iĝos lia edzino.
