En Satu Mare estas uzata {{koordinatoj gm}} kiu mem vokas la ŝablonon {{koord}} kun por parametro montru defaŭlta valoro entekste,titolo kiu tute celite aperigas la koordinatojn kaj en la teksto, kie la ŝablono estas, kaj en la supro de la paĝo (tion signifas "montru=titolo"). Ligilo al angla vikipedio

O, help. That should probably have been |nomo={{{nomo|{{PAGENAME}}}}}| (that is only two '{'/'}' around PAGENAME, [the global PAGENAME, not the parameter]). I am so sorry, there was a reason to protect {{coord}} and I asked to make it worse. --Erik Warmelink 19:33, 10. Dec 2010 (UTC)

I will come back to ask for more changes, but I will not have much time this weekend. Until now, I know of two changes that I will probably propose

1. in Ŝablono:Koord/enigu/gms: change |name={{{name|}}}}}{ to |nomo={{{nomo|}}}}}{ (that is: change name to nomo twice), just like it is in Ŝablono:Koord/enigu/gm and Ŝablono:Koord/enigu/g. This change seems uncontroversial, but I made an error before, so don't trust me. An example which should get &title=Enschede in the geohack-URL is Enschede.

2. in either Ŝablono:Koord/situo sur mapo or Ŝablono:Koord/ligilo, the same change would be nice. In Ŝablono:Koord/situo sur mapo it would be exactly the same change as in Ŝablono:Koord, but perhaps other ŝablonon also call Ŝablono:Koord/ligilo and then these ŝablonojn should be changed too (but they aren't protected). In Ŝablono:Koord/ligilo the change would be somewhat different (perhaps {{#if:{{{nomo|}}}|&title={{urlencode:{{{nomo}}}}}}} to &title={{urlencode:{{{nomo|{{PAGENAME}}}}}}}). Which one to choose, also depends on {{#if:{{{nomo|}}}|<span style="display:none"> (<span class="fn org">{{{nomo|}}}</span>)</span></span>|}}]; I don't know whether it would be good to have that (invisible) text when the name is chosen by default. For either change, Wietmarschen is a test case.

    Farite &title={{urlencode:{{{nomo|{{PAGENAME}}}}}}} I don't quite understand what would {{#if:{{{nomo|}}}|<span style="display:none"> (<span class="fn org">{{{nomo|}}}</span>)</span></span>|}}] do. In which page ? AL ✉^@₪ 09:38, 11. Dec 2010 (UTC)

   I have no idea either. That «style="display:none"» might mean that it is for programs and/or bots. If I don't know why something is done, I'd rather not change it. I found some more leads, eo.wiki has both {{KoordinatojURL}} and {{Koord URL}}, the first one does not have &pagename={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}, the second links to the obsolete http://tools.wikimedia.de/~magnus/geo/geohack.php. At no:Mal:Koor URL I have been collecting interwikis to Coord URL-style templates, almost all of them have &pagename={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}. I think {{KoordinatojURL}} and {{Koord URL}} should eventually be merged, but I don't know how/where that is normally asked at eo.wiki (and I can't write Esperanto).

   I'd rather have some others also look at it, but I would propose that in {{KoordinatojURL}} language=eo&params= is changed to language=eo&pagename={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}&params= (that is: add &pagename={{FULLPAGENAMEE}} between language=eo and &params= --Erik Warmelink 20:14, 14. Dec 2010 (UTC)

This link (also with other coordinates) should show no more [empty string]'s, it takes time for the underlying database to be refreshed though. I found Ŝablono:Koordinatoj that way, which isn't used heavily and unprotected. I could test some ideas for the 2nd change on that ŝablonoj before making more requests.

There still now are [empty string] AL ✉^@₪

That is normal, the database is refreshed daily, I think. Enschede and Wietmarschen now tell their name to geohack, so their name will be displayed after the next update, I hope. It is much better now, only Drenthe (already noted above), Flughaveno Stadskanaal and Schoonebeek are still labeled [empty string] and all three do use {{koordinatoj}}. The link for the same area on ruwiki only has italics (like this) for Элп which is mentioned in the article ru:Элпская культура. Hmm, that "should" was a bad choice of words, I wanted to say that "area overviews" from http://toolserver.org/~dispenser/cgi-bin/locateCoord.py are a good test whether we have found all cases. That did make the name of the articles show up at some places, but only at some places. I tested the "&pagename={{FULLPAGENAMEE}}" at Ŝablono:Koordinatoj artikolo and it does seem to work better (or less bad, perhaps). http://toolserver.org/~dispenser/cgi-bin/locateCoord.py?dbname=coord_eowiki&lon=34.650278&lat=31.797778&range_km=100 gives 3 names in "unslanted"/non-"italic" font and http://toolserver.org/~dispenser/view/File_viewer#log:coord-eowiki.log mentions some names. Mi konstatas malbonan funkciadon de WikiMiniAtlaso: per alklako de la tergloba ikono devas montriĝi WMA. Tio bone funkcias en multaj kazoj kaj ne plu en iuj precizaj kazoj:

• ĝuste funkcias en Ŝablono:Koord/dokumentado, en en:Chiemsee
• ne funkcias ekzemple en Chiemsee_(lago), Listo_de_ZEO-j_en_Nederlando en la teksto, kiam montrata per Fajrovulpo.
  • Ja funkcias kiam montrata per Google Chrome, kaj en la titolo.

Update the template for more features

Hello, you may have heard in the news that recent features let users Go on a Wikipedia scavenger hunt with Wikipedia Nearby. For those features to work, however, you need templates like this to give MediaWiki the coordinates using the GeoData syntax.
In short, I suggest you to copy or adapt the last code of w:en:Template:Coord, with w:en:Module:Coordinates etc. If you need help, you can probably ask en.wiki users. Nemo 14:41, 10 Jun. 2013 (UTC)

Baldaŭ ĝia kodo estos aktualigata, ĉar ni jam havas la bezonatan Lua-modulon

Mi jam okupiĝas ekde la 27-a de junio pri la Lua-modulo {{Coordinates}}. Hodiaŭ mi jam sukcesis aranĝi provejan version, kiu bone subtenas la esperantajn parametrojn montru kaj formato de la ŝablono {{Koord}}. Problemo kun la nuna kodo de la ŝablono

Saluton. Mi ĵus volis anstataŭigi {{Koordinatoj teksto}} per {{Koord}} en Hindia plato. Sed subite dum la antaŭrigardo aperis erarmesaĝo. Mi volis uzi la jenan kodon:

Ĝi redonas fuŝon, kvankam simila ekzemplo estas en la dokumentado kaj tie funkcias bone: 3.316 °N, 95.854 °O / 3.316; 95.854 (mapo) Mi pensas, ke eble estas iu problemo pri la precizeco de la numeroj. Do, mi ŝanĝis al la jena varianto:

{{Koord|3|18|58|N|95|51|14|E|type:landmark}}

kaj ĝi funkcias bone: 3° 18′ 58″ N 95° 51′ 14″ O (mapo) Pro la unua fuŝaĵo mi proponas ekuzi la kodon el {{Koord/provejo}} por {{Koord}}. Vidu la unuan ekzemplon per ĝi:

{{Koord/provejo|3.316|N|95.854|E|type:landmark}}

Ĝi ne estas montrata fuŝe (3.316 °N, 95.854 °O / 3.316; 95.854), kvankam la parametroj estas tute la samaj kiel supre. La nova kodo estas pli tolerema je uzaj variantoj. Do, mi pensas, ke ni finfine ekuzu tion. Ĉu estas iuj proponoj? --Tlustulimu (diskuto) 15:11, 1 Jul. 2013 (UTC)

La nova kodo en {{Koord/provejo}} eĉ superfluigas la apartan ŝablonon {{Koord2}}. Vidu la ekzemplojn:

Do, jen plia kialo por la ŝanĝo de la ŝablona kodo al la nova varianto kun Lua-modulo. La modulo nur havas fuŝeton en listoj. La kialon mi ankoraŭ serĉos. En la ŝablona ekspandilo videblas, ke ial aperas linisalto post la listera punkto.
