Greka Budhismo

Greka budhismo aŭ Grekobudhismo estas la kultura sinkretismo inter Helenisma kulturo kaj budhismo, kiu disvolviĝis inter la 4-a kaj la 5-a jarcentoj en Baktrio kaj la Hinda subkontinento, koresponde al la teritorioj de nuntempaj Afganio, Taĝikio, Hindio, kaj Pakistano. Ĝi estis kultura konsekvenco de longa ĉeno de interagado, kiu ekis pro grekaj enmigradoj en Hindion el la epoko de Aleksandro la Granda, pluigita fare de postaj sukcedantoj, kiuj establis la ŝtatojn de la Grekobaktria regno kaj, poste, de la Hindogreka regno, kaj etendiĝis dum la florado de la Kuŝana imperio. Budhismo estis tiam adoptita en centra kaj nordorienta Azio el la 1-a jarcento, kaj laste etendiĝis al Ĉinio, Koreio, Japanio, Filipinoj, Siberio kaj Vjetnamio.
