Dum tia [[kirurgio]] oni distranĉas la [[spermodukto]]n. La funkciado de la [[testiko]] ne ŝanĝiĝas. Estiĝintaj spermoĉeloj estas resorbitaj de la korpo. Vazektomio modifas nek starigeblon de la peniso, nek [[ejakulado]]n. Sed la ejakulaĵo ne enhavas [[spermatozoo]]jn.
