Grandbeka kanbirdo: Malsamoj inter versioj

Tiu specio estis unuafoje kolektita de [[Allan Octavian Hume]] en la [[Valo Sutlej]] ĉe [[Rampuro]], [[Himaĉal-Pradeŝo]], [[Barato]] la [[13an de novembro]] [[1867]]. Tiu specimeno (registro ĉe BMNH no. 1886.7.8. 1742) estis dekomence provizore priskribita kiel ''Phyllopneuste macrorhyncha'' ([[Allan Octavian Hume|Hume]], 1869<ref>Hume, A. 1869. Ibis 2 (5): 355–357 (no title).</ref>) sed la nomo estis ŝanĝata post du jaroj al ''Acrocephalus macrorhynchus'' (Hume, 1871). [[Harry Church Oberholser|H C Oberholser]] tamen konstatis en 1905 ke tio neakcepteblas ĉar specimeno el [[Egiptio]] priskribita de von Müller en 1853 kiel ''Calamoherpe macrorhyncha'' rezultis ''Acrocephalus stentoreus''; tiele la nomo ''Acrocephalus macrorhynchus'' estis abandonata favore de ''A. orinus''.
