Skara Brae

Skara Brae estas neolitika setlejo sur la Orkadoj. Ĝi situas tuj ĉe la okcidenta marbordo de la ĉefa insulo Mainland en Skotlando. Ĝi estas datita en la tempo inter 3.100 kaj 2.500 a. K. v.. Oni trovis tie ceramikon de la noĉita ceramikaĵo. La uzado de Skara Brae finiĝis dum la kulturo de sonorilformaj pokaloj. Por la tre bona stato de la konservado Skara Brae estas ankaŭ nomata la „Pompejo de Skotlando“.
