Saluton, KuboF! Mi vidis ke la "Artikolo de la semajno", kiu devas aperi en la ĉefpaĝo de la Vikipedio estas nun vaka, kaj apenaŭ iu zorgas pri la aktualigo. Mi proponis por la semajno 8 la artikolon pri Pink Floyd, ĉar mi vidis ke ĝi jam estas sufiĉa ampleksa, sed mi ne certas ke mi redaktis tion bone. Ĉu vi povas kontroli teknike? Saluton kara Tonyo! Kiel vi povis jam rimarki, lastatempe mi ne multe venas al Vikipedio - mi nun okupiĝas pli pri Esperanta Vikivojaĝo...

Tamen, mi vidas, ke la afero (nun) de teĥnika vidpunkto funkcias.

Kiam temas pri la funkciado de organizado de la laboro... Mi antaŭ jaroj proponis, ke anstataŭ "Artikolo de la semajno" estu "Artikolo de la monato". Ĝuste ĉar estas laboro, kiu devas okaziĝi regule (kaj tre ofte), dum kutime mankas homoj, kiujn faradus. Ankaŭ, Esperanta Vikipedio havas relative malmultajn vizitantojn. Do ni faras relative multan laboron por relative malmultaj homoj. Ekz. la slovaka Vikipedio faras 4-oble malpli da laboro (artikolo de la monato) por ĉ. 10-oble pli multaj vizitantoj... Se vi pretas faradi la taskon longtempe ĉiusemajne aŭ trovi homon (aŭ tiu homo mem troviĝu), kiu tion farados, mi tute ĝojas. Konkurso VikiPrintempo 2020 - partoprenu ĝis fino de Aprilo

Saluton KuboF Hromoslav! En antaŭa(j) jaro(j) vi jam partoprenis la konkurson VikiPrintempo, do mi pensas, ke vi povas interesiĝi pri remalfermo de la konkurso! Kompare al antaŭaj jaroj, nun la konkurso daŭros nur ĝis fino de Aprilo - je 1 monato malpli. Do, neniu hasto, sed la horloĝo tamen tiktakas.

La antaŭan jaron vi ne povis partopreni per temo pri via propra lando - tio nun ŝanĝiĝis! Kaj eĉ se vi pensus, ke Vikipedio jam enhavas ĉiun eblan artikolon pri lando de via intereso, legu plie, tiel vi pli bone povas partopreni en Vikivojaĝo.

Mi vin ankaŭ speciale atentigas kaj invitas partopreni la konkurson en Vikivojaĝo! Vikivojaĝo estas relative nova frato de Vikipedio, kiu celas helpi al esperantistoj pli agrable vojaĝi danke al buntaj turismaj informoj pri ĉiuj turismaj cellokoj (ankaŭ ne tre kutimaj). Vikivojaĝo daŭre estas en la Vikimedia Kovilo kaj serĉas sian aktivan komunumon. Kun la komunumo (ĉu ankaŭ vi estos parto de tio?), Vikivojaĝo maturiĝos kaj havos memstaran subdomajnon, tiel pli bone provizante la informojn.

Mi konscias, ke redaktado en Kovilo estas iom malsama ol en Vikipedio. Tial por plifaciligi viajn unuajn paŝojn kaj instigi vin provi Vikivojaĝon vi ricevos 2-oble pli multajn poentojn en Vikivojaĝo ol en Vikipedio! Nur pro tio, ke vi provis. Krome, estas speciala premio por la plej granda kontribuo ĝuste al Vikivojaĝo - kaj tiun vi povas ricevi aldone al la kutimaj premioj! Ni kredas, ke Vikivojaĝo havas multon por provizi al Esperantujo kaj Vikimedianoj - tial tiuj specialaj ofertoj. Kaj, eble vi ekŝatos Vikivojaĝon kaj decidos redakti ĝin ankaŭ post VikiPrintempo.

Kara Petr, en la paĝo pri reguloj estas konkreta listigo de landoj kaj tie Germanio ne estas inkluzivita. Fakte, estas diversaj difinoj de "Centra Eŭropo" kaj "Orienta Eŭropo" kaj diversaj homoj inkludas diversajn landojn. Tio estis granda obstaklo por bone difini la amplekson de la konkurso, tial mi kiel solvon elektis listigi la landojn.

Rezultoj de Afrika monato venos baldaŭ

Saluton, kara KuboF Hromoslav! Kiel organizanto de Afrika monato 2020 mi dankas, ke vi pacience atendis sufiĉe longe por la rezultoj. Bedaŭrinde, pro amasiĝo de laboro pro mia neplanita kun-organizado de pluraj retaj eventoj dum MondaFest kaj ankaŭ pro plikreskiĝinta administra ŝarĝo pri nia organizo Esperanto kaj Libera Scio (ELiSo), ni ankoraŭ ne sukcesis finkalkuli la rezultojn. Nun mi okupiĝas urĝe pri la Ĝenerala asembleo de ELiSo (la 28-an de Novembro) kaj tuj poste mi revenos al Afrika monato, kaj plej malfrue la 5-an de Decembro mi sciigos la rezultojn. ADLM

Saluton. Mi gratulas pro la sukceso de via propono ŝanĝi el ADLS al ADLM. Tio helpos al la seriozeco de la tuta Vikipedio. Nun utilus, ke la enmeto de nova artikolo estu akurata. Kiu faros tion? Mi iam komentis, ke en Ĉefpaĝo utilus ankaŭ alia ŝanĝo nun pli necesa, ĉar monato ne aspektas kiel tuj aktuala, same kiel semajno aŭ tago. Mia tiama kaj nuna propono estas malsuprenigi la klarigojn de Enkonduko, ĉar ne utilas al novalveninto klarigi pri kio estas Esperanto, ĉar tiu jam alvenis. Kaj samtempe suprenigi aŭ la Bildon de la Tago (buntalloga) aŭ la Aktualaĵojn, por montri, ke Vikipedio ĉiutage aktualiĝas. Mia persona propono estus pri la Aktualaĵoj, kaj tiukadre mi promesas meti kvar kvin novaĵojn ĉiusemajne, kiam mi faris iam, ĝis mia propono falis en nefekunda grundo. Tamen mi ankaŭ apogus la suprenigon de la Bildo, se en ties loko oni metas la Aktualaĵojn. Mi supozas, ke teknike tio estos pli laboriga, sed antaŭe mi ŝatus scii vian opinion prie. @Kani: Fakte, mi proponis transiron al monata ritmo antaŭ kelkaj jaroj, sed tiam troviĝis nova prizorganto, kiu pretis sekvi 2-semajnan ritmon, do mi rezignis. Nuntempan proponon faris (laŭ mia kompreno) Stefangrotz en la Telegrama grupo de Esperanta Vikimedio kaj mi nur konsilis pri proceduro kaj implementis teĥnike. Mi mem nun havas multan laboron pri administrado kaj gvidado de Esperanto kaj Libera Scio, precipe rilate al tre baldaŭa ĝenerala asembleo kaj rekono kiel oficiala Vikimedia Tema organizo (do, krom aliaj, plialtigo de rango de Esperanto ene de Vikimedia movado). Tial mi mem ne multe povas helpi pri ADLM plue.

Se mi bone memoras, Stefangrotz cerbumis pri adapto de ĉefpaĝo por bona poŝaparta montro. Mi rekomendas, ke vi du kuniĝu kaj priparolu, aŭ prenu iniciatemon kaj gvidu la ŝanĝon - tiun aŭ tiun aŭ ambaŭ. Mi volas diri tre klare, ke mi ne estas iu, kiu "aprobas". Almenaŭ ne de mia persona volo. Iam okazas, ke mi forigas materialon, kiu ŝajnas malrespekti kopirajton, aŭ mi forte argumentas kontraŭ iu stato, kiu maltaŭgas de teĥnika vidpunkto. Sed se afero estas enkadre de malloka vikimedia regularo, kaj la loka komunumo volas ĝin iel, mi akceptas, eĉ se mi forte malkonsentas.

Rilate al ŝanĝoj en ĉefpaĝo, antaŭe kutimis esti "konkursoj" pri la plej bonaj proponoj pri tute nova versio. Eble tio povus esti la vojo. Aŭ, tiel kiel vi skribis, simple ŝovi iujn elementojn. Ĉiuokaze, la plej taŭga loko por tion diskuti estas Vikipedio:Diskutejo/Teknikejo. Mi pretas helpi pri teĥnika implemento, ĉar por tio necesas administraj rajtoj. We want to invite you to join the first group of editors to try Section Translation. This tool allows editors to add new content to existing Wikipedia articles through the use of translation, and it’s designed to be easy-to-use on a smartphone.

How to participate:

1. Try Section Translation from a mobile web browser
2. Provide feedback on your experience. Your feedback will help shape future development of the tool.

Section Translation is still in development, so please note:

• LOG IN/ACCOUNT: You’ll need to create a test server account to use Section Translation. To avoid hassle, you can simply use these test credentials -- Username: ‘TranslationTester1’ Password: ‘SectionTranslation’
• LANGUAGES: By modifying the URL, you can try Section Translation with any pair of languages. But, in the test server instance, only Apertium machine translation is supported. So, your results may vary by language pair. You can find quick links to load a test article in Section Translation at the link in this message.
• ARTICLES:Try the quick links, or modify the URL to load any article. The only limitation is that the article must already exist in the target language. Section Translation will help you use translation to add missing sections to the existing article.
• PUBLISHING & SAVING: The test environment loads content from real wikis, but editing and publishing happens only in the test server. This means you cannot damage the real articles. It also means that you could copy/save your work if you want to add it to the real article later.
• SMARTPHONE-FRIENDLY: Even if you normally edit from a laptop, we encourage you to try Section Translation from your smartphone.

Give it a try by using your smartphone, opening a web browser, and visiting https://sx.wmflabs.org/index.php/Main_Page. There are sample quick links set up for you to use.
