La Sieĝo de BrestoDefendo de la Bresta Fortikaĵo okazis en 22a–29a de junio 1941. La Bresta Fortikaĵo (nune en Bresto (Belorusio)), defendita de la Ruĝa Armeo kontraŭ la germana armeo Wehrmacht, elteni pli longe ol atendite, kaj post la fino de la Dua Mondmilito ĝi iĝis simbolo de la soveta rezistado. En 1965 la fortikaĵo ricevis la titolon de Heroa Fortikaĵo pro la defendo okazinta en 1941. La proporcio de fortoj estis preskaŭ duobla favore al la germanoj, nome 17 000 kontraŭ 9 000 ruĝarmeanoj. Tiele la germanoj suferis "nur" 429 mortojn kaj 668 vunditojn,[1] dum sovetoj suferis pli ol 2 000 mortojn,[2] kaj ĉirkaŭ 6 800 kaptitojn.[3] Ĝi estis unu el gravaj bataloj de la Operaco Barbaroso en la Orienta Fronto (Dua Mondmilito).
