: Of course the two should be merged! As for the perfect name, I'm not sure. It seems like the only two composers that have any œuvre categories are Bach and Mendelssohn, so we don't really have much of a precedence to go by. Since we already have [[:Kategorio:Komponaĵoj]], which obviously should be a parent category for all of these categories, I feel it would be more straightforward to leave that word in the category name. This would mean that the Mendelssohn category would need to be renamed. If you agree then I will post a message to that effect on that category. (It seems that [[Vikipediisto:Longharulo|Longharulo]], "der Langhaarige", who also is a German, created that category. You might want to talk with him directly.) As for creating a new category for "Compositions by composer", I don't think that would be helpful at this time. [[:Kategorio:Komponaĵoj]] has no subcategories other than [[:Kategorio:Komponaĵoj de Bach]], so there is no need for an additional level of hierarchy; it would only make things unnecessarily complicated.
