Universitato Concordia: Malsamoj inter versioj

 

The university is, in fact, the result of merging completed in 1974 between the University Sir George Williams, and the University Loyola, this latter administered by the [[Jesuits | Jesuit]] congregation.

== Academic Studies ==

Students entering the university in September, or, in some cases, in January or May. Bakalaŭraj diplomas usually requires three or four years of study full-time, magistraj diplomas demands of one year and a half to three years, and doctor's degree requires at least four years. Certifikatoj and other licenses usually requires no more than one year and a half to complete.

 

The Institute for Cooperative Education administers more than 35 bakalaŭrajn and magistrajn programs in alternativanta cooperative format of work-study. The programs cooperative enables the students to enrich their learning through participation in karier concerned with full-time, paid shifts of 12-17 hours per each week. Depending on the department and the ĉefstudo, cooperative students usually diplomiĝos with a minimum of 12 months of academically this experience. And there are options for Industrial Experience and Professional Experience in certain departments that enables students to participate in only one-sumera Work. Concordia is a member of the Canadian Association for Cooperative Education (KAPKE).
