::: Koran dankon for your brave support. Your message has been answered by one of the members (I suppose) and well the fact is, in his opinion (even if he doesn't state it clearly), that Chapters should represent States but well if you've got big countries this law doesn't apply, curious thing isn't it? Thanks again for your support, you can help us by pasting the sticker '''{{ŝ|Wikimedia CAT}}''' on your first page and raising more support between your fellow members because this is like an arm-wrestling contest, there are two diverging opinions in the Wikimedia foundation and a legal void towards recognition which is interpreted by some to be according to states with some valuous exceptions... if we can show we raised a big support from the Wikipedian communities it might help open the door to Catalan, Esperanto and other projects. The arguments make no sense, Catalans will raise money for a Catalan chapter but will be reluctant to give to a Spanish Chapter and maybe it would be the same with Esperanto, you would help more an Esperanto Chapter than you would a German one in your case, I guess. Giving us an Association status is some kind of offence when it's supposed to be a favor, I mean it's like considering you like an inferior group when maybe you've got more to offer than some Chapters... it's really obnoxious to put boundaries where there shouldn't be. Anyway, take care and thanks again/Antaŭdankon, keep on observing what's going on and I hope someday you can also have an Esperanto Chapter. :::: Now there are already 3 comments. I'm sorry to say: I am not already supporting your case - at first I would like to know what the opponents said. ("Audiatur et altera pars.") Do you know where I can find a report about the refusal and the arguments? --[[Vikipediisto:Lu Wunsch-Rolshoven|Lu]] 19:09, 14. Jun 2010 (UTC)
::::: Hi, sorry to reply this late. I understand your misgivings, don't worry about it! I think that the best solution for you right now, if you're interested, is to get in touch with Gomà before intervening directly, our president, since I don't know which documents can made public or not and that I'm some kind of newcomer too. What you shouldn't do in my opinion is go do the talks alone, I mean just the Esperantist Association, like I read in the following message. The interest of the Chapters will be to give a second solution which actually will be much inferior to a Chapter, let's say they give horses to the States Chapters and will tell you: "We'll give you a dog, look it's a charming creature, it can keep sheep, your house safe and may help the blind..." and if you accept the others will run around with their horses while you will stay with sheep... The whole thing isn't closed yet since there are two visions of things and that clear exceptions have been made even if they try to hide/desguise it: 1) The NYCity Chapter which has been granted to a city and then 2) Hong Kong which is about the same and even more complex due to the Chinese situation that will doubtfully accept Cantonese or regional chapters even if they're a big country. Moreover some multilingual chapters like Switzerland (and maybe Belgium) seem to have problems... I'll help you the best I can in any ways if you want to leave me a message, but please be careful, avoid to find/accept definitive solutions and thus close the doors to a future evolution of the Esperantist Wikipedia and the other stateless Wikis. Thanks again for listening to me and trying to find solutions. Have a nice day and a pleasant week, sincerely, antaŭdankon, [[Vikipediisto:Capsot|Capsot]] 07:56, 16. Jun 2010 (UTC)
