Edward Bransfield
Edward Bransfield (ĉ. 1785 – 31a Oktobro 1852) iĝis oficiro en la Brita Reĝa Mararmeo, servante kiel prinaviga ŝipestro de kelkaj ŝipoj, post ricevi fortan impreson el la ŝipservo aĝe de dekok en Irlando, kie li estis naskiĝinta. Li famiĝis pro la esplorado de partoj de Antarkto, kaj vidis la unuan la duoninsulon Triunuo en januaro de 1820.[1]
