Calcarius lapponicus

Disvastiĝo

Ili reproduktiĝas en Arktaj Eŭropo kaj Azio kaj en Kanado kaj plej norda Usono. Ĝi estas migranta, kaj vintrumas en la stepoj de Rusio, suda Usono, arktaj areoj de Norda Skandinavio kaj suden al marborda suda Svedio, Danio kaj Granda Britio. Tiu estas la ununura specio de la emberizedoj longspuruloj en Eŭrazio, kaj kvankam ili probable ne evoluis tie, ili estis en Orienta Eŭropo almenaŭ dum ĉirkaŭ 30,000 jaroj (Tomek & Bocheński 2005).

Aspekto

La Laponemberizo estas fortika birdo, kun dika flava beko de semomanĝulo. La somera masklo havas nigrajn kapon kaj gorĝon (foje eĉ supran bruston), blankan okulstrion kiu foje kovras la okulareon aŭ foje ekas malantaŭ ĝi, etendas al la nuko, ĉirkaŭas la vangon kaj poste la gorĝareon, brunan nukon, blankecajn subajn partojn kun nigra strieco en flankoj, kaj tre striecan griznigran dorson. Aliaj plumaroj havas pli senmarkan oranĝecbrunan kapon, pli brunan dorson, kaj helbrunajn nukon kaj flugilmarkojn. La kruroj estas malhelgrizaj.

Ekologio

La plej komuna flugalvoko estas akra "prrrrt" kutime antaŭata de pli nazeca "tiiŭ". Dum reproduktado ili elsendas pli mildan "dujjiii" sekve de paŭzo kaj "triiiuuu"; ambaŭ sonoj alterne.

Ili reproduktiĝas en humidaj areoj kun betuloj aŭ salikoj, aŭ nudaj montoj, kaj vintrumas en terkultivejoj aŭ marbordoj. Tiu birdo estas ofte vidata ĉe la arbolimo, kaj emas manĝi en miksitaj kunmanĝantaroj vintre. Ties natura manĝo konsistas el insektoj dum idomanĝigado kaj semoj. La nesto estas surgrunda.
